An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedActually, .db files are version 2. These are not supporter by pwSafe correctly and are much less secure than their v3 counterparts.
I suppose you should have no problem finding a v3-compatible app for most platforms: http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/relatedprojects.shtml

An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedWe are aware of that need and planning to build the import feature next year. Meanwhile, you can use the Windows version to perform this operation, both tools use the exact same file format.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedYou can import from a comma separated file using Password Safe for Windows, which is free and can be obtained from this link: http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net . When done importing, just transfer the .psafe3 file to your device: both apps use the same file format. A future version should include direct import support, eliminating the need to use a PC.
To import your CSV data, you'll have to format it according to the instructions bellow (after my name). You can do that in a spreadsheet editor like Excel or Numbers.
Please let me know if you need further advice.--

An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedOn OSX -> No cancel button. Instead, you can UNDO at any time before closing the app by pressing CMD + Z and you can browse previous versions of the safe by using the corresponding option on the File menu.
On iOS -> Cancel button.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedOn the OSX app, there is no such workflow because you can always undo the changes. Even if you close your safe, you can browse earlier versions.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedYou can always hit the cancel button if you change your password or any other item by accident.
Also, if you just want to see your password and notes, hit the sunglasses button to the bottom.

Sent required forms to French government
An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedUnfortunately, the only country where we currently can't sell pwSafe for Mac is France, because of these complicated regulations, with which we couldn't yet comply:
http://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/affichTexte.do?cidTexte=LEGITEXT000005789847&dateTexte=#LEGIARTI000006421577
http://www.ssi.gouv.fr/archive/fr/reglementation/regl_crypto.html
http://www.ssi.gouv.fr/site_article195.html
http://www.ssi.gouv.fr/site_article197.htmlWhile we fill the forms and wait for the government approval, I suggest you buy an iTunes gift card anywhere else and create a bogus account for the country of origin of the gift card.
I'm very sorry for this inconvenience, we really would like to sell to French customers, but it seems like French government don't want us to.
Best regards,

An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedThanks for your feedback.
We use a modeless* interface on MacOS because, with a mouse and keyboard, it's much easier to simply undo whatever goes wrong. You can also restore previous versions of your safe using the "File", "Rever Document" menu option.
To save changes, simply press CMD+S or use the "File", "Save a version" menu options. You can tell your safe needs saving by the looking at the window title bar.
Regarding the settings button, most options are on the menus, such as changing the safe password and changing the safe global password policy. App-wide option don't exist at this time, they will probably appear on a next version.
*modeless means you don't have to switch modes to edit your data, just like a word processor. On iOS, with finger as input devices, we use modes: view and edit.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedWe do provide source-code, but you aren't able to compare the compiled code you get from Apple with the binary you produce yourself because the former is encrypted.
We provide the source code for evaluation against errors or bugs which could inadvertently compromise security. Because of Apple's distribution model, you ultimately have to trust us the source code provided is the same one used for producing the app which goes to the App Store. If we did harvest passwords, that would be both a serious crime in the 100+ countries pwSafe is distributed and grounds for immediate exclusion from the App Store, not to mention civil prosecution by every one of the 30.000+ customers we currently have.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedI'm really confused. All relevant text is already black on white. Could you please send me a screenshot to < pwsafe@app77.com > ?
An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedWhere exactly in the app is the background making it difficult to read in your opinion?

Will evaluate the option to use numeric only master password.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedOK.
For the master password, that's not possible right now. Will look into it.
For the stored passwords themselves, you can already do that: just open the "password policy" section when editing an entry and remove all kinds of symbols but numbers. When you edit your password, you'll get a numeric only keyboard.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jorge Vasquez commentedAre you referring to the master password or to the saved passwords inside your safe?
As long as you format it appropriately, you should be apple to copy pwSafe.app into your iron key and copy it from there to the destination Mac whenever you need it. Your safe can be stored on your IronKey, no problem.
Using an IronKey will not add much security in this scenarion though, because the safe is already fully encrypted and double-encrypting, contrary to common-sense, does not add that much security.
