To prevent accidental password change "new" button to create new password should be master password protected

Agreed. It's so easy to accidentally hit that button. And it generates a new password even if they're hidden so you wouldn't even know that you did it. NEEDS to be changed or protected.

On OSX -> No cancel button. Instead, you can UNDO at any time before closing the app by pressing CMD + Z and you can browse previous versions of the safe by using the corresponding option on the File menu.
On iOS -> Cancel button.

I can't see a "cancel" button in the OSX app either. Nor can I find a way to retrieve old passwords (which I am able to do on the Windows Password Safe app). Where are these features that you mention, Jorge?

On the OSX app, there is no such workflow because you can always undo the changes. Even if you close your safe, you can browse earlier versions.

There is no cancel button in OS X app. The "Edit / Cancel" workflow is only implemented in the iOS apps.

You can always hit the cancel button if you change your password or any other item by accident.
Also, if you just want to see your password and notes, hit the sunglasses button to the bottom.
