  3. Can't print the manual. Why not? Technical language is made for a programmer. Should be written for entry-level person.

  4. It would be nice to place a link for external safes (f.e. seafile) such as dropbox. Thanks!

  5. Please add an option for the "master/safe password" to not be necessary when Touch ID is enabled. Other apps such as bank apps don't require Touch ID AND my password. Apple has enough security on the lock screen to prevent unwanted access upon phone reset etc. I apologize if this option already exists and I couldn't find it; Also, if it does, please let me know how to enable it.

  6. The reason I bought pwSafe for OS X and iOS, was to be compatible with the unix command-line utility http://nsd.dyndns.org/pwsafe/.

Turns out, the command-line utility only understands up to version 2 of the file format. Which imports fine into the Mac version, but if you make a change and save, the Mac version writes it out in file format version 3, making it unreadable by the command-line utility.

This means that my workflow has to be: make all changes with the command-line utility, and open the safe read-only on the Mac and iPhone. Which is workable, but could be…

  8. Love the app, including its simplicity. I use it all the time on iOS and Mac. But I also often use my Chromebook and that's where pwSafe is an issue. I have to manually type in passwords that I'm reading off my iPhone! Could an extension for Chromebooks be built?

Thanks for all your great work!

  11. Please make 'require password before deletion' of a safe optional/user configurable. I have a corrupt psafe file that I cannot open or delete. It just clogs up my list of safes.

  12. Request a password before printing - it is too easy to print out the entire set of passwords - this is a real security risk (think remote printers, being distracted from your desk for 2 minutes)

  13. Just like in the address bar in a browser. I mostly use the search box in pwSafe to find my items. Then I close the app and next time I open it that search result is still there – good thing, because I may want to continue with that item.
However, when I want to go to a new item, I first have to click the little cross to clear the search box, then click into the box and then type in my new query. So we could save the click on the little cross if a click in the…

  14. Are the password files I open supposed to be listed in the box under "iCloud | Mac" ? Nothing ever appears in this list and I always have to select "Open other" which is a real pain. Also, it would be great to have an Open last used feature. I tried to use:
defaults write com.app77.pwsafemac NSQuitAlwaysKeepsWindows -int 1
    but that didn't help

    thanks

  15. I really like the App and upgraded to v2 and payed again.
All is working great except the iCloud file storage. I have four psafe3 files and randomly 1-3 vanish. If I wouldn't do a backup locally manually I would lose all Passwords when I need them most.
    Please fix that bug!!!

  17. pwsafe has now become almost useless due to complicated login, cloud-shit and mre.
    pwsafe deteriorate every day.
I suggest that you fire 99% of the programmers and return to a simple style of use.

  20. Have a setting in preferences that allows the app to automatically hide when the application is not in focus.
