  1. it cuts off the lower section of characters. not being able to read your passwords makes it difficult. commas look like periods, lower case g's and q's look the same, underscores disappear altogether.

i feel like i shouldn't have to request this as a feature, since it's essential.

  2. I try not to use iCloud but, tonight I lost my iPhone. I went to my Mac book pro. and tried to open pwsafe to retrieve my iCloud password. I could not open pwsafe on my mac book unless I signed into iCloud which I could not sign into. I could only sign into pwsafe on my phone, i could not find my phone, unless I signed into iCloud. See my problem. So I went through the process of resetting my iCloud password. Is there some way to avoid this in the future. I could send myself pdf files, if…

  4. I would prefer that I work solely with the pwsafe plug-in and password entry fields, rather than having the application open and my safes appear as active windows forcing me to minimize them back to the dock.

  5. When a safe times out, it brings the safe window to the top, causing me to have to minimize it (as I usually no longer need it). It would be a great option to toggle that off or on based on user preference.

  6. Automatically select the safe, take me to Touch ID (or password entry) immediately. If more than one safe exists, allow for selecting one as default.

  9. The Windows version of PasswordSafe enables the user to enter notes on the properties of the safe, which is useful in identifying the history of a safe file. BTW, I think this suggestion is different than another user's request for a "properties field". As far as I can tell, that user was asking for properties on an item. I'm asking for properties field for the whole safe file.

  10. on the iPhone app, every time I unlock the safe, I immediately want to search for the entry I'm looking for. So I tap "Search all items", instead of just sliding to the next screen, there's 3 steps the screen does every time, which is annoying since I end up accessing this app so often. I tap search, then the screen slides left, then it slides up, then the search field slides over. Why does this have to happen? When I unlock my safe, just immediately slide over so I can start typing. Over time, using this app again and…

  11. On the desktop application, the search filter is located on the far right corner of app. It would be better suited directly above the entry tree, making it easier to see the results of your query.

  13. When reorganizing a group (e.g. splitting the contents into multiple sub-groups) it would be slightly faster and more convenient to permit the selection and drag-n-drop movement of multiple entries at one time.

  14. It would be great if I could set a default password safe file so I wouldn't have to choose it every time I open Password Safe

  15. When opening pwSafe, its cumbersome to have to search for entries that I commonly use. I realize that I can organize popular entries into groups, but what is popular depends on the time of year and what device I am using.

The pwSafe app should default to displaying all of my entries in order of usage (most popular at the top). In order to maintain the current UX these, these popular entires could be displayed in a special application managed Group folder that is not editable by the user. The popular entries list would be specific to the device being…

  16. I'm worried that if my master password is ever compromised, at least this will provide some level of backup security. Also, if the password for a safe is ever entered incorrectly for 10 times consecutively, the app should automatically send an email to the 'owner' of the safe.

  17. I only have need for 1 safe. It's an extra step to select the safe each time I use the app.

Please allow a "remember last safe" option or the ability to set a default safe that automatically opens.

  18. I know this was an idea of a user who wanted to see that info where the results live, but for me it's confusing to be confronted with a listing on the left side that just has so much info.

There's already the option to "Show details on entries list" so my idea is that when this is UNCHECKED, then the "group info" would also be hidden in Search.

I get so many search results because I search for all fields and because I have zillions of entries. In my case it's too overwhelming having the "file path" underneath the…

  19. After each app update, the "Keep open for" timeout period seems to revert to "3 days". Would be nice for the user's last selected timeout period to be preserved after updates, if technically possible.

  20. Using location settings I would set up a geo fence around my property and maybe a short password (2 to 4) numbers. When device leaves Safe Zone it automatically master locks app and clears pasteboard. Finding I have to enter my password every time I jump to another app for more than about 10sec. I have started using Master Password and have quite a lengthy one. This is becoming somewhat annoying.
