Possible FaceID bug
Hello,
Twice now I believe I have seen where the safe is locked.
-I open the app.
-It attempts FaceID recognition.
-I tell it to try once more
-It fails a second time.
-Instead of preventing use of the safe, it then just asks for the password as if nothing happened. If the FaceID is successful, it moves on to asking for the password, so to me.. if FaceID fails it seems that it should then either boot the user out or circle back to trying FaceID again until it is successful.

Better pronounceable passwords
The pronounceable algorithm doesn't actually create passwords I can pronounce or remember. Would it be possible to use something like the one used by apg?
https://linux.die.net/man/1/apg
https://www.password.skI know apg is insecure to generate truly random passwords when executed on a 64-bit processor, but the pronounceable algorithm appears to be fine. Could it be used or implemented in pwSafe?

Spanish Language Support
Support in the most spoken languages would be really useful

As soon as someone volunteers, we can start this!

Allow us to put pictures into the PwSafe
I absolutely love PwSafe, and have been using it for several years. But my only complaint; is that we can’t upload pictures into the safe, so I can have all my sensitive data in one place.
PLEASE RECTIFY THIS!!!?????2 votes -

CMD+doubleclick to copy username
Please add an option to copy the username similar to copying the password. Double-clicking an entry copies password. It would be great, if (e.g.) CMD+doubleclick would copy the username. Maybe add this to the settings, so you could choose, which key should copy which field.

Move Entries from One Database to Another
Please consider enabling the app to allow moving an entry – or an entire group – to another password safe database already existing within the app. As I use the app more, it would be convenient to be able to mimic a Win10 desktop app’s ability to drag-and-drop entries or groups to another open, existing database.

I would like to be able to Hide Groups
Just to be able to Hide Groups. I want to retain the Groups and view them if need be but, sometimes, I just want to see my current Groups.

Touch ID as default vs. Password default (via Preferences)
Presently, password is default since I have to click "Use Touch ID" before scanning my finger. If Touch ID were set default in Preferences then I'd be able to immediately scan my finger after opening the safe and would have option to "Use Password" that requires a click.

Document how to share files with Linux Password Safe via iCloud
On my Linux machine, I downloaded the My Safe.psafe3 from the iCloud web interface and can edit it. How can I safely upload it back to iCloud and let pwsafe reload the changes?

A function to find identical passwords to prevent reusing credentials
We all know that reusing a password for different 3rd party services (e.g. your email, your online bank, some ecommerce site, etc.) is a very bad idea. Unfortunately it's getting harder to keep track if you have reused a password or not. It would be great if pwSafe had a built-in function to go through all password entries, compare and find matches and display this to users upon request. Even better, if the tool could warn users when adding/saving a password e.g. "Warning: you are using this password already for xyz".

Show creation date of current password
The current dates shown at the bottom of the window in the desktop app apply to the complete record including the notes. I modify my notes occasionally. I would therefore like to see also the date when specifically the current password was created. Then I'd know whether it's old or not. Currently only passwords in the history have a date attributed where it's not really clear what it means – modification date, deletion date, creation date (no label with that date)?
My idea is to make the password field a bit more narrow (still to be able to accommodate passwords…0 votes -
Allow users to add customizable fields.
Users could chose what kind of entry they are making (password, bank account info, drivers license, etc) and specific fields would be available based upon those entry types. In addition, allow users to add a custom field from a bank of pre-existing option (ie. password hints, PINs) and add additional fields as needed such as if one bank has a joint account and saving account they could be listed on the same entry.

Fingerprint support in Mac version of PwSafe
Please add fingerprint support in Mac version of PwSafe. It's a paint to add the password each time i want to check for a password and it's not secure as everyone is seeing it. Please add fingerprint support for the mac versions like macbook pro 2017/2018 and each laptop with finger scanner. The mobile version already has it, so please add it to the desktop (MAC) version. Thanks.

feature request - find duplicate/similar passwords (and prevent passwords already in use)
It would be very useful to have a feature that would find/flag all entries with duplicate (or even similar with a regex) passwords, to prevent reusing the same password across sites. As we all know, this is very risky since if one site/service/account is compromised, your other credentials can be easily guessed on other sites/services.
A "duplicate password prevention" mechanism would be useful when saving/changing a password.
