Show not only in which Group a record resides, but also in which Subgroup

I agree. Ability to jump to the containing group list of entries would also be a useful feature.

@pwSafe User: I like your idea to be able to create a new duplicate entry from an entry that was just found.
Another related idea would be to have the ability to jump to the entry in it's organized context, like "Reveal in list" or so. That would be useful when you want to see what else is in that Group/Subgroup already.

I see what you are after, but maybe there is a simpler way to solve your original issue if pwSafe implements it. See proposal below.
Regarding groups vs subgroup, they are the same and are just text field of an entry. The hierarchy comes about in the visual layout.
Proposal:
As pwSafe works now, when you search and find your entry such as your Twitter-2, long press on it and a popup with an option for Duplicate appears. Tapping on Duplicate brings up a screen that allows you to navigate to the group, starting from the top level where you want the duplicated entry created in. This doesn't solve your problem since you'd still need to know the hierarchy to group you want. However, if the option was there for something like 'Duplicate in place' where the entry is duplicated in the same group as the entry being duplicated then you could use that to get what you want by just editing the duplicated entry, which you can find with another search. I think this option for duplicating an entry would be better on a mobile device than trying to show a possibly long list for the full 'path' to an entry hidden deep inside nested groups.
Note: If you are using an iPhone 6s+ with 3D Touch turned on, use the device in landscape orientation so that pwSafe is in two column layout to be able to long press a search result. I found an issue I'll report to the developer where the menu with the option for Duplicate doesn't appear when force touching or long pressing the result of a search with device in portrait orientation that has 3D Touch on.

The title of this idea should be changed to: "Show not only in which Group a record resides but the full nested path to it."

@ pwSafe User: yes, I'd like to see the path to the entry. I use version 8.2.4 on an iPhone running iOS 9.3.1. In pwSafe settings, Group Layout is not set to Flat but to Automatic.
When viewing a record, I'm only informed of in which "Group" the record resides. In my case the group name is "Chat Services." However, this group is nested in a "Group" named "Telecom & Chat." When I navigate to this group I have to tap on "Subgroups" to get to the group "Chat Services."
I have therefore 2 issues:
1. Semantics: The terms Group and Subgroup are not used in a strict way across the board.
2. Location info: Even if I understand from experience that what is displayed as "Group" is actually a "Subgroup" (in my case) it still won't be easy to guess in which "Group" (meaning root group) my item lives.
I have 997 records and nearly all of them live in Subgroups. I suggest to display not only the "Group" OR "Subgroup" my record is stored in, but to show the full "file path" so to speak. Then the label "Group" for that information would be OK and both of my issues would be resolved.
As to why it's useful to know the location of a record, please refer to my initial post.
The solution to set all to a Flat view defeats (in my case with nearly 1000 records) the purpose of subgroups when looking for a record when not knowing the title – the list would be too long (I have many groups and subgroups)

In the latest version I get the group or subgroup of the entry I search for.
Maybe you want to see the full nested path to the entry?
Once you know what subgroup the entry is in, if you switch the group layout in app settings to 'Flat', it should be easy to see the full nested path at glance.

Example: I'm on my iPad and do a search in pwSafe. I have several accounts with an online service and I add a number suffix to the title, like Twitter-1, Twitter-2, etc. I find the entries when searching for the term Twitter and see that I have, for example 3 accounts with Twitter. Now I want to set up a 4th account next to the others but don't find where the others are because they are in subgroups and I cannot see to which subgroup to go.
