Add option to save as version 2 for compatibility with unix tool
The reason I bought pwSafe for OS X and iOS, was to be compatible with the unix command-line utility http://nsd.dyndns.org/pwsafe/.
Turns out, the command-line utility only understands up to version 2 of the file format. Which imports fine into the Mac version, but if you make a change and save, the Mac version writes it out in file format version 3, making it unreadable by the command-line utility.
This means that my workflow has to be: make all changes with the command-line utility, and open the safe read-only on the Mac and iPhone. Which is workable, but could be better. I'd love the ability to make changes on the Mac and copy them back over to the unix side.
Important note: When the Mac version imports a version 2 file, it seems to parse the notes field and pull out things that look like URLs, to populate the URL field. If the Mac version were to gain the ability to save as version 2, it would need to either do the same thing in reverse (prepend the URL plus a newline to the notes field while saving) or it would need to somehow preserve the original v2 notes field somehow.

Loxodo (http://www.christoph-sommer.de/loxodo/) supports command-line use and seems to be happy with the current pwsafe file format.
