os x, welcome to pwsafe default tab
in the welcome to pwsafe dialog, it always defaults to icloud.
i do not have any icloud items, but I do have two under "mac".
A solution could be to default to display the tab which has items in it.
an alternate one which may be better is create a new tab called "recent" and default to this tab.

Backup iCloud version to local disk
When you store the safe in iCloud, you should be able to back it up to local disk, just to make sure to have youre own copy locally. If iCloud service is down or the iCloud version is corrupt.

Sign in screen too small
It would be great to have a sign in screen similar to Keeper.
I changed from Keeper because they keep bugging me to pay $10/yr. it's a rip off. So far your app is excellent.5 votes -
Restore full interface with latest Santander UK mobile banking app.
Santander's latest app requires login details to be entered on 2 separate pages. I can copy and paste customer ID on first page but this function now unworkable for password and security number on second page. I hope you can restore this interface as I love your app. Santander says it's not their fault.

pwSafe - The ability to add new fields
The ability to add new fields in pwSafe would make it the perfect app. So say I want a heading called "first school" on one password and "favourite teacher" on another. Great app :-)

Major Bug
Last night I put all my data in pwSafe on the Mac in the iCloud. I hit the delete button by accident and my complete Safe was gone!!! Two hours of work are gone!!! There was no question for a master password. Just press Delete and all your data is gone. Please fix this major bug. Anyone who starts pwSafe on my computer can delete all my passwords. So please fix this major bug and put a master password on the Mac version even as on the Iphone version

Implement URL schemes for external search
I use Launch Center Pro. I'd like to be able to use it to launch pwSafe and jump directly to a particular entry or search result. More on URL schemes: http://wiki.akosma.com/IPhone_URL_Schemes

Add WebDAV support
Within a business environment opening a safe from a shared location (i.e. over VPN on our iOS devices) using WebDAV makes a lot of sense and is really the only option for our security considerations.

Mac iCloud sync needs a "sync now" capability
My two iOS devices immediately share changes to the iCloud-shared safe file, but my Mac copy of pwSafe does not seem to push changes to the file to iCloud in a timely manner. Can you make the iCloud sync timer in the Mac version visible, or add a "sync now" command to force it after a major change? I just added a new entry on the Mac which did not show up on either of my iOS devices; adding a new entry on one iOS device showed up immediately on the other, also on the Mac -- wiping out, on…

Open PWSafe in online storage via Open by
I suggest to support PWSafes which are stored in all kinds of online storages. Accessed for example via file browser and webdav and opened with your tool by using 'open with'. With the current version I am forced to store locally or via dropbox and I cannot use my existing PWSafe on a different online storage.

Add a warning when deleting a safe
I just got pwSafe for my Mac and my iPad. I like it a lot. It is pretty easy to use and I love the way in syncs over iCloud.
However, I see a really big problem. It is way too easy to delete a safe in the Mac app. If you select a safe in the welcome screen a hit the delete key it's gone! There should be some kind of "are you sure you want to do this?" warning with an opportunity to say no.
The iPad app is much better on this. To delete a safe I…

Make it very easy to manage multiple safes
We have multiple safes for different kind of passwords, one for my private passwords, one for a network group, one for the management group and so on and so fourth.
It could be GREAT if the pwSafe application could give me a tabbed view of all my safes. A little like the iPhone app. You can open each safe, and keep it open for X hours. Then I could tab thru each safe easy.

Any possibility you'll launch for Android?

Mac version: add thumb drive auto sync.
iCloud sync is awesome when I can be online, but when I'm not & on a different computer (e.g. Work) I carry a back up database on a USB thumbdrive (with multi-platform clients). If I could tell the Mac app to auto sync the iCloud database with the thumbdrive database.
Doing this manually is a pain:
- copy DB from iCloud to thumbdrive
- switch to a windows machine
- merge the old & new DBs
- switch back to the Mac
- replace iCloud DB with merged DB2 votes
- Don't see your idea?
