  2. Would be nice if you could search with cmd + f in the notes field. I have some big notes sometimes.

  4. It would be great to have a sign in screen similar to Keeper.
I changed from Keeper because they keep bugging me to pay $10/yr. it's a rip off. So far your app is excellent.

  5. Santander's latest app requires login details to be entered on 2 separate pages. I can copy and paste customer ID on first page but this function now unworkable for password and security number on second page. I hope you can restore this interface as I love your app. Santander says it's not their fault.

  6. On Mac app, it would be great if there were an option for it to automatically open the last used database file. Version 2 did bring on the option to either start with the welcome screen or the file browsers but with the original Pwsafe app I used on my Windows machines at work, it will remember the last used file and just launch it (and I only have the 1 file anyway). I'd love to see this feature on the Mac app. Thanks.

    That procedure might help:

    1) Issue the following command on the terminal
defaults write com.app77.pwsafemac NSQuitAlwaysKeepsWindows -int 1

    2) Open all the safes you want

    3) When quitting the app, instead of closing its windows or pressing CMD+W, simply press CMD+Q or choose pwSafe→Quit pwSafe menus.

  8. in the welcome to pwsafe dialog, it always defaults to icloud.

i do not have any icloud items, but I do have two under "mac".

A solution could be to default to display the tab which has items in it.

an alternate one which may be better is create a new tab called "recent" and default to this tab.

  9. We have multiple safes for different kind of passwords, one for my private passwords, one for a network group, one for the management group and so on and so fourth.

It could be GREAT if the pwSafe application could give me a tabbed view of all my safes. A little like the iPhone app. You can open each safe, and keep it open for X hours. Then I could tab thru each safe easy.

  10. I use Launch Center Pro. I'd like to be able to use it to launch pwSafe and jump directly to a particular entry or search result. More on URL schemes: http://wiki.akosma.com/IPhone_URL_Schemes

  11. suggest that only the TITLE show under the heading when opening. Showing the userid is repetitive to the data in the user field.

  13. Similar to the idea of defaulting to display the tab which has items in it ...

Would it be possible to configure the tab that is frontmost when the application opens? Should be an easy "Preferences ..." entry. I'm pretty sure that quite a few users would be leery of keeping their credentials on iCloud but I also acknowledge that the option should at least exist - a configurable "default" tab would make all the people happy all the time (I think).

  15. A windows store version compatible with ARM devices (e.g. MS Surface) would be fantastic. Since Apple is unlikely to provide a solid non-Mac iCloud API SkyDrive syncing seems like a good cross platform sync solution.

  16. Have full control over who owns your data, by supporting sync through SparkleShare. SparkleShare is free and opensource and can be installed on your own server.

  17. The Windows version of Password Safe allows a user to "import" a second password safe file into the current file, effectively merging the two. The ability to do this on the Mac would really be useful as we distribute new password files on a bi-weekly basis and right now I need to open up both files and manually merge them together.

  20. iCloud sync is awesome when I can be online, but when I'm not & on a different computer (e.g. Work) I carry a back up database on a USB thumbdrive (with multi-platform clients). If I could tell the Mac app to auto sync the iCloud database with the thumbdrive database.

Doing this manually is a pain:
    - copy DB from iCloud to thumbdrive
    - switch to a windows machine
    - merge the old & new DBs
    - switch back to the Mac
    - replace iCloud DB with merged DB
